Green Spaces
We Love

Across Los Angeles, there are remarkable pockets of natural wonder that invite exploration and offer a chance to pause, breathe, and reset as a classroom or family. These โ€œgreen field tripsโ€ highlight some of our favorite natural spaces, and reflect our larger mission to protect, restore, and create even more places like them.

Check back often as our growing โ€œgreen spotโ€ list is updated regularly

Will Rogers Historic State Park

In Recovery
๐Ÿ’š

Famed park, mountain hike a plenty, and polo field local, Will Rogers has been one of the most well-renowned and loved green-space on the westside, beloved by the entirety of the city. Changed drastically by the 2025 Palisades Fire, the park is in a faze of recovery, re-growth, and rehabilitation, but opened back up to the public at the end of last year. Visit to be reminded of the resilience of nature!
